I copied and pasted your line, changing name of mounted volume to just the name of the volume and no quotes either. Keep in mind this disk image is on a drive that is 8GB and has nothing else on it. I then see a Resize window but it appears I can only size it down. Then selected the still mounted disk image and clicked Resize Image from the toolbar, at which point I am asked to reenter the encryption password. With it mounted, I then did exactly what you said - ejected the volume. I partitioned it into 2 partitions (volumes) approx 80GB each. Try adding some large files to it and see if it gets larger. Once thats done, mount the disk image again, and use the Terminal command. Enlarge A Dmg Encrypted Password And Itįirst create the disk image, double-click on it, and a disk image volume mounts.
